THE TULLAMARINES
Cram four over thinkers into a room, sprinkle in some love, care, anxiety and affection and you get The Tullamarines.
Formed by Josh, Angus, Benny and Lucinda after meeting through Adelaide's local music scene, The Tullamarines have built their identity on vulnerability and camaraderie - transforming overthinking into emotionally charged indie pop. Now a bunch of inseparable nervous wrecks, they share the highs and lows with the honesty and warmth of old friends. Their unique blend of perspectives hits you like a pillow to the head while you’re jumping on a bed of giddy indie pop, a feeling that runs through both their discography and their high-energy live shows.
Over the past two years, The Tullamarines have emerged as one of Australia's most exciting indie bands. Their 2025 Safety Blanket EP marked a defining creative leap, with stand out single Running On Empty earning full rotation on triple j and reaching to #1 Most Played and landed at #97 in the 2025 triple j Hottest 100. They were also named one of triple j's Ones To Watch, with their single Idiot featured in EA's Skate soundtrack.
Their sold-out Safety Blanket headline tour saw packed rooms across Australia singing every word back, cementing The Tullamarines as one of the country's most exciting live bands while they've shared stages with The Jungle Giants, Ball Park Music, Flipturn, Lottery Winners, The Vaccines, Everything Everything, The Preatures, Old Mervs, Rum Jungle and more. Festival appearances include SXSW Austin, The Great Escape UK, Dot to Dot, Immergut Festival, Laneway Festival, Beyond The Valley, Woodford Folk Festival and SPIN OFF.
Equal parts cathartic and chaotic, The Tullamarines are proving that the most powerful songs often come from those willing to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
