MOONDOGGY
By the time moondoggy arrived to a sold-out show in Los Angeles, they’d come a long way from small-town Canada.
The five-piece alternative rock band got their start north of Toronto in 2019, playing house parties, DIY shows, and small clubs. That journey through the city's independent scene helped build their distinctive sound: melodic, alternative rock marked by undeniable hooks and unexpected turns.
The combination earned them a worldwide audience that crosses age and genre. The person next to you at a moondoggy show might be 17, or they might be 70. Either way, they're a fan.
Their debut album, Mad and Noisy, was proof, earning over 23 million streams worldwide and transforming them from close friends making music into a band with an international audience.
Changing Seasons, Breaking Even followed quickly. By the third record, Around The Fire, there were fans waiting in every city.
The band sold out shows across the entire first leg of their Northeast US tour. Europe followed—clubs and festivals in Austria, Germany, France, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. Then back to the US for more sold-out shows in LA, San Diego, Phoenix, and more. All while remaining completely independent and self-managed.
The band returns to the studio this fall for their fourth album, with another international tour to follow in 2027.
